Assisted Living

Our assisted living option is perfect for those that may get overwhelmed with the day to day upkeep of their own homes and other daily tasks such as bathing, grooming, or managing medications, but who would still like to have a place of their own. Our staff is available to help with daily tasks as needed, fitting into each individual lifestyle.

Independent Living

Our independent living options are some of the most affordable in the state. With community events and regular outings, residents find a socially stimulating environment amongst friends. Our active seniors enjoy days of engagement and social interactions without the stress of maintaining their own homes.

Respite Care
Respite care living is available for seniors still living at home, who are curious about or contemplating a move that comes with some daily assistance. Respite care provides the opportunity to experience our community as a resident firsthand in order to make the decision on pursuing a full-time residency at Whaler’s Cove.

2025 Holiday Stroll Event

     Experience the magic of Whaler’s Cove Assisted Living, beautifully      decorated for the season! Join us for a family-friendly guided tour of our newly renovated community and see why so many choose Whaler’s Cove as their home. Along the stroll, enjoy photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus, apartment tours, fresh cinnamon roll decorating, hot chocolate served by Ms. New Bedford & Ms. Teen New Bedford, and live holiday music by members of the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra.
